Geneviève Ferone

Vice-Chair of The Shift Project.

Doctor of Law (International Economic Law- Panthéon Sorbonne University, Paris I), graduate of the Ecole Supérieures de Commerce et d’Administration des Entreprises, Geneviève Ferone has worked with many international organisations: International Energy Agency, OECD, Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees.

She was a partner in an economic intelligence consultancy firm based in San Francisco and developed expertise in the study of pension funds and ethical investments.  She was the President-Founder of ARESE, the first French social rating agency for listed companies and Managing Director of CoreRatings, a subsidiary of Fitch Ratings.  Geneviève was Sustainable Development director and member of the Executive Committee for the Eiffage Group from 2006 to 2008.  She is a Board member of the Chirac Foundation. Geneviève Ferone was also Director for Sustainable Development for the Veolia Environnement Group from 2008 to 2013. She is currently the co-founder and managing director of Casabee, a studies office on sustainable territories.
