There are two types of donors:

• Members – companies of all sizes and sectors, philanthropic organisations (foundations, endowment funds), family offices, associations, as well as a few major individual donors – finance the core operations and flagship projects of The Shift.

• Patrons – whether businesses, philanthropic or public organisations – fund specific projects.

By becoming a Member (subject to approval by the association’s Board). The annual membership fee, with a minimum of €10,000, is determined according to a scale based on your organisation’s revenue.

As The Shift Project is a non-profit organisation of public interest, all donations are eligible for tax benefits.

• Businesses: your donation is 60% deductible from corporate tax (up to €20,000 or 0.5% of annual turnover excl. tax, whichever is higher). Any surplus is deductible over the following 5 years.

• Individuals: any donation under €5,000 will be transferred to the Shifters. Your donation is 66% deductible from income tax (up to 20% of taxable income) OR 75% deductible from wealth tax (up to €50,000 per year). In both cases, any surplus is deductible over the next 5 years.

• Be invited to exclusive events: two Shift Club meetings (one in June outside Paris, one in November in Paris) dedicated to executives, with foresight workshops and a reflection circle led by Jean-Marc Jancovici; four thematic mini-conferences

• Receive four seasonal newsletters

• Attend (with five seats per member) public presentations of The Shift’s work (around ten each year)
